Your 10-step path to the future of modern living.
Typical timelines are around 6 months for pre‑construction (city‑ dependent) and around 4 months for construction from permit. Ongoing itemized reports provided for full cost transparency. Optional financing is available (20% deposit; APR=Prime + 2%; interest accrues daily).*

1. Confirm Homesite Fit
Check your address on Veev.com to confirm your homesite can accommodate one of our floor plans.
2. Agreement & Deposit
If your homesite qualifies and you love our floor plan as much as we do, we’ll schedule an initial consultation with you to review the process and pricing.
3. Entitlements & Planning
Veev manages SB9 split (if applicable) and planning approvals. Owner supports SB9 items as needed.
4. Permit Submittal & Issuance
Veev submits plans to the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) and completes any iterations to approval. Inspections pathway established.
Payment trigger: Fees/Impacts & Permits = Pass-throughs (due at issuance).
5. Site Prep & Land Development
Veev clears and grades homesite, demolishes existing structures (if any), preps utilities and access.
Payment triggers: Land Development: Cost +10% — Dev Payment 1 at foundation start; Dev Payment 2 at final.
6. Home Construction & Finishes
Veev completes Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) integration, interior finishes, exterior details, and hardscape/landscape per plans.
Direct Construction pricing: $250/SF + $25/SF premium (Model X 3,046 SF ≈ $761,500).
Payment trigger: 50% of Direct Construction at roof-truss.
7. Utilities & Inspections
Owner schedules power/water. Veev coordinates inspections.
8. Move-In & Enjoy
Construction complete. Veev closes and completes final walkthrough.
Payment trigger: Balance of Direct Construction at building final.
If using financing, principal + interest due within 45 days of building final.

California’s SB 9 makes it easier for homeowners in single-family zones to split their lot in two and build up to four units.
SB 684—Multiply Multi-Family Lots
SB 684 empowers property owners in multi-family zones to divide larger parcels into smaller ones—up to ten lots.
SB 1123—Bring New Life to Vacant Land
SB 1123 extends SB 684 to include vacant lots in single-family zones (up to 1.5 acres) and parcels located near jobs, schools, and transit.
